125 Kitemark Accreditation: KM 547355
Advance Accident Repairs has recently gained the BSI
Kitemark
certification - setting the high standards that consumers/fleet managers
expect
when having their cars repaired.
To gain the highly-regarded
Kitemark, the vehicle body repair shops must prove that they conform to tough
standards. These include strict requirements that focus on skills, repair
methods, equipment and materials. All these elements are then assessed by
independent BSI inspectors and must meet stringent benchmarks if the valuable
Kitemark is to be awarded by BSI.
Grenville Taylor, Bodyshop Manager
commented: "As an independent working with vehicle manufacturers we are able
to
offer a high level of customer service and an uncompromised quality of
repair.
We found the BSI Kitemark standards to be a very good template for
establishing
a repair process for a new business.
Operationally we have seen benefits from the implementation of
quality processes and disciplines while setting up and establishing our new
business.
"The Kitemark has played a key role in helping to establish good working
relationships with customers, vehicle manufacturers and work providers. We
have
continued to grow a business through the recession in a declining industry,
which we take as an indication that even in a recession core values of
quality
repair and customer service are just as important and probably regarded as
more
valuable."
Advance Accident Repair plan to
continue to grow and to expand its productive team as and when they can
recruit
and train the right people.
Eric Friend, BSI Kitemark
Certification Manager added: "We are impressed with the dedication shown by
the
team at Advance Accident Repair in achieving the Kitemark and we truly
believe
that it will benefit their organisation and their customers. By gaining the
certification it demonstrates how serious the bodyshop is about getting
critical vehicle body repair safety processes right. "
